A new survey from the Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America shows a marked increase in Ecstasy-related ER visits, and increases in use of all drugs — except cigarettes — after a decade of steady decline. The annual Partnership for a Drug-Free America (PATS) report looks at drug use among adolescents and adults. The other two major surveys – National Survey on Drug Use & Health from SAMSHA, and Dr Lloyd Johnson’s Monitoring the Future – show the same trends. Dr Inaba comments on the trend and what might be affecting it.
