Dr. Inaba will be holding the 1st workshop on day 1 May 27, 2020 Current Science of Addiction and Recovery: Dispelling the Stigma. This presentation will explore the evolving science of Addiction and Recovery to dispel the undue stigma associated with Substance Related and Addictive Disorders. It will also offer an introduction to the new resources in development to treat these disorder and the evolving medical specialty of addiction medicine.
Western Canada Trauma and Addiction Conference: Canada’s Premier Counselling Skills Conference will be held on May 27, 28 and 29, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta. This years conference will focus solely on topics that are integral to treating trauma and addictions. Treating individuals and families who are struggling with trauma and addictions require a host of clinical services delivered by skilled clinicians who employ the most up date and scientifically proven approaches.The goal of our conference is to provide professionals with training that focuses on developing new skills, techniques and interventions that allow front-line professionals to enhance their skill set and improve client outcomes.
