Our third look at sports and drugs this summer continues with a consideration of ethics and Olympian ideals, which include the promotion of fair play, education against doping – drug use, display of positive role models, advance sport management and promote culture of which sport is a part of... We apply a somewhat crude, forced attempt at ethics with drug testing. News this summer included stripping a gold medal from a Belarus shot putter when her blood from 8 years ago was re-tested and found to have steroids. We also discuss why marijuana is banned, and the newly named Post-Olympic Stress Disorder that affects fans as well as the athletes.
